Commission Terms

COST

Creature of Habit custom made designs are crafted with the utmost attention to detail and require a great deal of time and expertise. Pricing for custom bespoke designs ranges from $2,500 USD - $8,500 USD depending on the level of detail, labor and materials required to produce the design.

PRODUCTION TIME

Timelines for designs varies depending on the level of intricacy and materials/labor required to produce each piece. Production time ranges from 3-6 months, however delivery time depends on the other orders in queue. Meaning that while your commissioned design may only take several months to produce, there may be other orders prior that must be finished before your design is started. A more specific timeline will be discussed when the design is decided.
**Please specify upfront if you have a required deadline for delivery of your commission, so that I can let you know if your timeline is possible.

DESIGNS

Creature of Habit specializes in bespoke fantasy dreams ~ elegant and ethereal designs with an otherworldly aura. Feel free to take a look at my Gallery for inspiration of some previously created pieces.

Please note that at this time I do not create replicas of other designs - if you would like a piece inspired by a character/concept/design, we can discuss creating a similar vision.
At this time I do not take commissions for menswear or children’s clothing.

PAYMENTS

Once I have received the details of your design to be commissioned (such as silhouette, fabric, mood boards, etc.), as well as confirmed that I am able to take on your order, I will offer you a general price quote. Please note that final price quotes will be sent once the design is confirmed.

I will require a non-refundable fee of $200 USD to produce a design sketch featuring your fully articulated, custom design. At this stage I will include the final pricing to produce the featured design, as well as material and construction details. Please note that during production material and construction decisions may shift as per availability of materials, notions, etc. I will always keep you updated when this is the case.
Preferred payment methods are Zelle and PayPal.
**For orders totaling over $3,000 USD a payment plan may be set up, upon request.

RETURNS

Due to the labor intensive, highly-customized nature of bespoke designs, I do NOT accept returns, exchanges, or issue refunds.

SHIPPING

Fees for shipping are the responsibility of you, the client, unless otherwise stated. For domestic orders I ship via USPS Priority Mail, unless otherwise stated. For international I have several options that we can discuss to find what best suits you and your needs. All orders are shipped fully insured and all customs, taxes and other fees are the responsibility of you, the client. Creature of Habit is not responsible for delayed, lost, stolen or damaged packages. In the event that any of these should happen, please immediately contact your local post office.

DISCLAIMER

Please note that due to the labor intensive, highly customized nature of the bespoke fantasy pieces I create, I may not be able to take all orders. I am a one-woman-run business and must manage my orders and time in a way that is fair to my clients and business.
If I am unable to take your order, I will recommend a select few other designers I trust who may be able to take your order.
